A LITTLE HISTORY...
McNichols Trades Group was established in 1989, by Paul and Janice McNichols. Today, over 30 years later, we take pride in the fact that we are a family business that specializes in commercial and residential electrical, plumbing, and gas work in the beautiful Village of Westport, Ontario.
We are registered with Canada Revenue Agency and the province of Ontario as a corporation. Our directors are Paul McNichols, Janice McNichols and Joe McNichols.
Being a small-town, family owned and operated business, we rely heavily on word of mouth for our advertising. Our customers are happy with the products and services we provide, so they tell their family and friends. That is the biggest reason MTG is still going strong after 30 years in a rural community.

McNichols Trades Group Ltd. is a licenced and insured electrical contractor, registered with the Electrical Safety Authority as part of their Authorized Contractor Program for both residential and commercial work. This means that we are in good-standing with the Electrical Safety Authority because of our history of reliable and accurate electrical installations. What does that mean for you? It means faster service!

Our tradesmen are all registered with the Ontario College of Trades; this is our regulating body, ensuring that we stay current in our licencing responsibilities.
The safety of our staff members is one of our top priorities, so we have a current and up to date Health and Safety Program as well as WSIB coverage.
